Battle Of The Year China 2008 CD

The First Release of it's kind in China, the BOTY China 2008 soundtrack is attempting to break not just musical boundaries but geographical ones too. Bringing together some of Asia's leading producers, the BOTY China 2008 soundtrack promises to focus the somewhat fragmented Asian Hip hop scene and place China firmly within this context. On top of this it is a message to the Western scene that Asian/Chinese Hip hop is by no means just limited to dancing alone.

Metric Breaks Scratch Record

Another groundbreaking release, Metric Breaks should prove an invaluable tool for Chinese DJs and producers alike. Compiling Chinese language samples and sounds, it should, for the first time allow Chinese DJs to give their routines and sets a genuinely Chinese flavour. It should also increase the accessibility of hip hop DJs domestically as the reliance on purely English samples could be seen to alienate potential listeners.
